Capturing Images around Christmas

It's now December. Do you have your Christmas tree up yet? A simple and yet fun way to practice such photographic techniques as focus, composition, exposure and more is by capturing images of Christmas tree ornaments, people in front of the tree, and so on.

There are also lots of lights up around in the community that you can have fun capturing. Here are some I captured in downtown Winnipeg along Portage Avenue. Because some of them were captured indoors (i.e the Skywalk above the street) there are reflections and dirty glass.
